writer - artist - maker - sounds as claro correcto
My name is Claire Todd. Originally from Leeds, I now live in the Scottish Borders. I have been writing and practicing audio visual art since 2016, exploring the facets of grief, love and loss through words, imagery and sound/field recordings. My practice was born from the loss of my mother in 2015, beginning with the concept for an audio visual installation based on the three years I spent with my mother after my father died. Being a self taught artist I am working backwards from the point of this original concept in order to hone my skills and create a fully immersive audio visual experience, whilst developing smaller scale artistic outcomes as part of this process.
